Hello Everyone! Happy Wednesday!
This post is a quick and short review for the Slim Design Night anti-cellulite cream that I have had the chance to try lately. As I always, my disclaimer is that this product was sent to for the sole purpose of trying and reviewing. All opinions in this post are my own and as honest as possible.
When I was approached about this product, I thought that it would be the perfect cream for me to try especially given that I am in the process of getting my VSG surgery. Here are some Important facts about this cream: it claims to fight stubborn cellulite, intense nighttime slimming, smoothe dimples, and provide intense nourishment. The main ingredients are caffeine – which eliminates fat; ivy -which detoxify tissues; salacia – which de-structure connective tissue; safflower oil – which hydrate and nourish the skin.
This cream has a light, non-greasy, creamy consistency and smells really good. It is made in Paris and is available here in Canada at Shoppers Drugs Mart. The cost for this cream is $60 CAD, which in my opinion, is expensive based on the fact that I am on a budget and there are many cheaper options on the market. However, I prefer this cream because of the main ingredients in it. Spending $60 on a 200ml bottle of anti-cellulite cream is justifiable.
So now the million dollar question is; does it work? I have tried this cream for about a good month now and the only thing I have noticed so far is that the skin on my inner and outer thighs is much firmer than it was before. As for my cellulites, I am not too sure because I am not too worried about them, my main interest in this cream is its firming ability, given that loose skin is one of my concerns especially after I have the surgery.
Do I recommend it? I am on the fence with this one. The price is a little steep, but the list of ingredients is great.
That is it for this post. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Until next time!!!

As you can see by this long list, these are the ingredients in the lipsticks. There are a lot of the names I can’t pronounce but I don’t see anything too alarming (correct me if I am wrong).
Price: $22 USD and $28 CAD.
Application: is really smooth. I love the angular shape, which makes it conveniently easy for me to line my lips.
Pigmentation: very pigmented
Quality: Ultra Matte, they are non-drying and very comfortable to wear. They last quite a bit. As you can see in this picture, I wore Rose XCess for about 7 hours and that is after eating a soft pretzel, drinking lemonade and no touch up. As any regular lipsticks, they do transfer, but nothing dramatic.
My verdict: I really love these lipsticks. I find that they are very smooth and non-drying especially for ultra matte lipstick. I love the wide range of color in this collection, I believe there are about 30 shades and there is a shade for everyone. Definitely Women of Color Approved! I also love the fact that there is a list of ingredients available on their website for concerned consumers such as myself. https://www.esteelauder.ca/product/631/46704/product-catalog/makeup/pure-color-love/lipstick#/shade/Rose-Xcess Lastly, I love the packaging; it is very nice and sophisticated!
Would I repurchase and recommend the Pure Color Love Lipsticks? Yes and Yes!
That’s about it for this post. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Until next time!
Hello Beauties! Happy Friday!
Roughly two weeks ago I had the chance to attend the Estee Lauder Pure Color Collection Release Event in Toronto. It was a great and fun event. There were many other bloggers and youtubers and I was able to meet and network with the ones I am familiar with. Here is the event in pictures…
I had the chance to try out these lippies!
Finally, this what I went home with in my goodie bag…
Thanks for reading loves… Until next time!!!!
Today’s post is a quick product review for the Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask, which I have had the chance to use lately.
Ingredients: the main ones are strawberry, yarrow and rosemary. It also contains water, kaolin clay, cetyl alcohol, salicylic acid, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium hydroxide, etc…
Function: the claim about this mask is that it is a skin-refining mask with berry boosters that goes straight to work on clogged pores, strawberry and rosemary eliminate impurities while yarrow clarifies the skin for instant complexion perfection.
How to use: it is to be applied on fresh cleansed and dried skin of the face and neck while avoiding eye area.
Price: It costs $8.97 CAD at Walmart
My opinion: Overall, the Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask is a not-so-bad face mask. When it comes to the ingredients, there are a few that raise a red flag for me especially the methylparaben and the propylparaben. I love the fact that the ingredients are listed on the container and visible enough, so consumers are aware. I love the mild tingling sensation, it smells great and from a price stand point, it’s not too bad.
Would I repurchase and recommend the Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask? Honestly, no and no. As I mentioned, some of the ingredients are raising a red flag and the face mask contains parabens, which I am not a fan of. I prefer using face masks without parabens in them and there are many other face masks that are paraben free on the market.
That is it for this review. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Until next time!
Hey Beautiful people!
I have been slacking so much on posting constantly on my blog. I do apologize for that. So these next few weeks I will be posting about the products that I have been using the past few months. I will call this my “Late post” category. Anyways, enough blabbing…
So this post is a review for the Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye Gelee. Just a quick disclaimer, I was sent this product for the sole purpose of trying and sharing my honest opinion with yall.
I have tried a few different eye creams but I am not sure that they make a difference in how my under eye area looks. However I love the fact that they help keep my under eye area moisturized and they make the application of concealer appear much smoother with less creasing.
Here are a few facts about the Estee Lauder Eye Gelee:
- It is multi-action, fatigue-fighting eye treatment that helps eye skin look and feel firmer, radiant and deeply nourished.
- It improves skin’s visible firmness, reduces the look of lines, wrinkles and puffiness, and brightens the look of dark circles.
- It is an Energizing Complex of powerful, energy boosters, including Sea Lavender flower extract, helps promote natural cellular energy.
- The golden-tipped cooling massage applicator helps boost microcirculation and reinvigorate the eye area.
- There is only .27 oz worth of product, but a little bit goes a long way.
I have been using this eye cream since the end of March, I can say that by now, I have been using it enough to let you know my honest opinion. When it comes to eye creams I am not too particular on what I am expecting for them to do for me in terms of getting rid of dark circles. However, I love their moisturizing effect. In my opinion, the Estee Lauder Eye Gelee is not any different from the other ones I have used, but it is the applicator that I love the most. I love the cooling effect of the applicator when applying the cream especially after leaving it in fridge overnight. I love the fact that instead of using my fingers, the applicator does the work for me. I also love the packaging. It is very travel-friendly, it small enough to fit in any purses, make up bag, and I don’t have to worry about the product spilling.
If you guys are interested in purchasing the Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye Gelee, it is available at any Estee Lauder counters and it retails at $68 CAD and $55 USD online.
