Hey Beautiful people!
I have been slacking so much on posting constantly on my blog. I do apologize for that. So these next few weeks I will be posting about the products that I have been using the past few months. I will call this my “Late post” category. Anyways, enough blabbing…
So this post is a review for the Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye Gelee. Just a quick disclaimer, I was sent this product for the sole purpose of trying and sharing my honest opinion with yall.
I have tried a few different eye creams but I am not sure that they make a difference in how my under eye area looks. However I love the fact that they help keep my under eye area moisturized and they make the application of concealer appear much smoother with less creasing.
Here are a few facts about the Estee Lauder Eye Gelee:
- It is multi-action, fatigue-fighting eye treatment that helps eye skin look and feel firmer, radiant and deeply nourished.
- It improves skin’s visible firmness, reduces the look of lines, wrinkles and puffiness, and brightens the look of dark circles.
- It is an Energizing Complex of powerful, energy boosters, including Sea Lavender flower extract, helps promote natural cellular energy.
- The golden-tipped cooling massage applicator helps boost microcirculation and reinvigorate the eye area.
- There is only .27 oz worth of product, but a little bit goes a long way.
I have been using this eye cream since the end of March, I can say that by now, I have been using it enough to let you know my honest opinion. When it comes to eye creams I am not too particular on what I am expecting for them to do for me in terms of getting rid of dark circles. However, I love their moisturizing effect. In my opinion, the Estee Lauder Eye Gelee is not any different from the other ones I have used, but it is the applicator that I love the most. I love the cooling effect of the applicator when applying the cream especially after leaving it in fridge overnight. I love the fact that instead of using my fingers, the applicator does the work for me. I also love the packaging. It is very travel-friendly, it small enough to fit in any purses, make up bag, and I don’t have to worry about the product spilling.
If you guys are interested in purchasing the Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Eye Gelee, it is available at any Estee Lauder counters and it retails at $68 CAD and $55 USD online. Hello Beautifuls! Happy Thursday!
It’s been almost a month since my last post, but life has been throwing me lemons and I made some major decisions. I am going to try my best to keep this post short and sweet.
I decided to go back to school to become a Montessori teacher. I graduated from university back in 2014 with a BA in Family and Social Relations and a minor in French and I was not able to get a decent job within my field. So this year I decided that I would have to go back to school to further my education. I applied for teachers college and was not successful. Since I have been contemplating Montessori Teachers education for quite a while, I decided to go for it and honestly, it is the best the decision I have made so far this year. I will have a separate post on that later on.
I also started the process for the gastric sleeve surgery. I know that many people have mixed opinions about this type of surgery and I have heard it all. I decided that enough is enough and chose that route because I have been struggling with my weight for quite a while now. I tried many different diet programs and going to the gym, and nothing has really worked for me long term. What was frustrating for me is that I would lose a few pounds and gain it again. I have been told that I am taking the easy way out and that I am not consistent in my diet and exercise routine. As much as I respect everyone’s opinion I believe that at the end of the day I will do what is best for me and my body. Everyone’s body is not the same. It may be easy for some to lose a few pounds, but for others it is a challenge. I am not advocating and encouraging people to have a bariatric surgery just because, but if this tool is offered, why not use it. I am also aware that having the surgery is not a “magic way” to lose weight, it is just step 1 in my weight loss journey.
Anyways, that is all for today. Let me know in the comments section what you think about any of the things I mentioned in this post. Thank you for reading, until next time!

I hope you are all having a great Tuesday.
I decided to take another quick break from blogging. I really needed it because aside from my serious case of writer’s block, I needed time to spring clean and reorganize my house and working on business and making certain life changes and so on and so forth.
I also have been working on revamping and creating contents for my blog and youtube channel. Talking about my youtube channel, I have reached 117 subbies and I am so happy about. Thank you to those of you who read my blog posts and watch my videos.
That’s it for this quick update, stay tuned for upcoming posts!
I had the chance to spend one day in Chicago with my mom for my cousin’s wedding during mothers’ day weekend. It was a first time kind of situation for me; first time in Chicago and first time assisting a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, which was really nice.
Although it was a short trip, it was really fun for me because I had the chance to get out of Windsor; I had the chance to go on a “girl” road trip with my mom and doing something special for her for mothers’day weekend and I also had the chance to see some of my cousins that I haven’t seen for over a decade, very nice family reunion. We stayed at the Swissotel Chicago and the customer service that the staff provided was awesome. The view from our hotel room was stunning…
The only sad part about the trip is the fact that we didn’t get to visit any places. Chicago is a big city with plenty to do and plenty of places to visit; therefore one day was not enough. But I do intend to come back and explore more of what this beautiful city has to offer!
That is it for this post my lovelies, I hope you enjoyed reading it. Please let me know if you have visited or live in Chicago, and what are some fun activities that you recommend.
Thanks for reading, until next time!
