Experimenting with colors MOTD: Fairy Dust

Hello Beauties!

Like it says by my title, I am trying to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with color eyeshadows other than neutral colors, such as the blues, turquoise, yellows, reds, etc… I originally wanted to create a look using yellow and purple without it being tacky; but I really how it turned out. It looks like I added fairy dust to my eyes!

Here are the products I used:

Primer – Maybelline Instant Pore Eraser

Concealers – L.A Girl Pro Conceal Orange Corrector to color correct and L.A Girl Pro Conceal Cool Tan to highlight

Foundation- Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Coconut

Eye Shadow Primer – Essence Eyeshadow Base

Eyebrows-  Wet N Wild Eyebrow pencil in Simma Brown and the Maybelline Clear Mascara that I use as a eyebrow gel

Mascara – Rimmel London Wonderlash Mascara with Argan oil

Setting Powder – NYC Loose Face Powder

Face Powder – Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in Coconut

Blush – New York Colors Cheek glow in the color NoLita Pink

Contour kit – Nars Contour Palette in the color Gienah

Eyeliners – Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black

Highlighter – Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

For my eyes,  using my 120 Eyeshadow Palette purchased on Aliexpress…DSC_2313 editDSC_2315 edit …I applied color 1 all over my lid as a transition color; I then applied color 2 which is a shimmery mustard yellow all over my lid as well; then I used colors 3 (black) and 4 (purple) to create a not so dark smoky effect, and lastly, I applied colors 5 and 6 which are shimmery yellows on the inner corner of my lid . On a side note, All the colors I used were shimmery except for color 1, which is a matte light brown.

this one was taken outside using natural light…

I hope you guys enjoyed this post… Until next time!
