I’ve seen this trend recently on youtube where some of the gurus were adding up the cost of the make up products they use to create a look. I found it really interesting because sometimes we don’t think of how much our make cost when added together. Some of these amounts were as equivalent to a mortgage or car loan payment… Ouch!
So I will do 2 series: one with affordable products and one with expensive high end products.
So all the products that are listed below are used to create this make up look and are under $20 each. Here we go:

Eyebrows- Wet N Wild Eyebrow pencil in Simma Brown: $1.87 at Walmart
Maybelline Clear Mascara (that i use as a eyebrow gel): $4.96 at walmart
Eyeshadow – 120 Eyeshadow Palette: $12.49 on aliexpress
Mascara – Rimmel London Wonderlash Mascara with Argan oil: $5.99 at Shoppers Drugmat
Setting Powder – NYC Loose Face Powder: $4.47 at Walmart
Face Powder – Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in Coconut: $6.99(on sale) at Shoppers Drugmart
Blush – 12 Blush Palette: $5 on Aliexpress
Contour kit – Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette Medium to Dark: $6.99 at Walgreens
Eyeliners – Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black: $2.99 at Shoppers Drugmart
Wet n Wild Coloricon Khol Eyeliner in the color 607A Calling your Buff: $1.87
Highlighter – Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights: $6 at Ulta
Lipsstick – Colourpo Ultra Matte Lip color Tulle: $6 on Colourpop’s website
For this particular look, the total cost of products I used is $84.59. Even when the products were under $20 they still add up to pretty decent amount.
