This weekend is coming to an end and it was one best ones I had so far this year as it was my birthday… woo woo! Don’t mind my excitement yall… I just turned 32 and as much as I am excited to get older and wiser, I am also scared because the years are adding up way too fast.
This year, I didn’t do anything grand per say. Instead of having a big huge party, I asked my hubby and family to just keep it simple. As I grow older, I don’t see the necessity of having big huge parties, maybe when I make it to 50, I will then change my mind. This year I opted for a quiet dinner and a movie with my hubby.
My make up look was not simple at all. I love how it turned out, especially my eyeliner. I am not a pro at wing lining my eyes so I do the best I can; but for some reason, I messed up my liner and I had to improvise. So I went back with some eyeshadow and applied it on top of the liner and blended it really well.
I’m not gonna go through all the details about the products I used on my face, I will focus more on my eyes, lips, blush and highlight. This is the palette I used to achieve my eye look….I used color 1 all over my eyelid as a transition color, color 2 which is a chocolatey brown on the outer corner and my crease, color 3 which is a purplish gray on half of my lid and color 4 on top of color 3. And voila…
This is what I used for my lips- Kate lipstick from Rimmel london in the color 10 and lip liner from Essence in the color femme fatale.
And for my highlight… this is from Makeup Revolution
This is it in a nutshell. I hope you all had a great weekend!!
