This post a review on this product that I received since last year in October to try and review. I figured that it is now time for me to write a review about it, given that it has been 3 months since I have been using it. Let’s get started!!
About the company: Prior to being contacted, I was not aware neither did I hear of the company. All I know, according to what I read on their website, is that the cream has been around since 1991. Check out this link http://egyptianmagic.ca/about/ if you would like to know more.
About the product: According to the website, The All Purpose Skin Cream is is a phenomenal healing balm with legendary powers due to its unique mixture of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms. It’s main ingredients are olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis. It is additives, preservatives, fragrance, chemical and parabens free and is not tested on animals. This product is multifunctional; it can be used in many different ways. check out this link http://egyptianmagic.ca/best-uses/. Directions on how to use it is to rub a moderate amount in the palm of your hands until it takes the form of an oil and then apply to the skin. As for the consistency, I would say that it is almost the same as vaseline.
The Pros: I love the fact that it is made with natural ingredients. It is moisturizing and not greasy at all.
The con: I don’t like the smell. Although it is fragrance free, to me it smells like a rubber band.
As far as the price, it is a bit pricey, in my opinion, but it’s to be expected of any organic certified products. The 2oz jar is $31 and the 4oz jar is $48.
My overall opinion about this product is that it is a great cream and I love it especially during the winter my skin gets really dry. But since I have been using it, my skin feels moisturized and soft. I prefer to use it right after I shower on wet skin instead of dry skin because it applies smoothly that way. The only thing is I wish it didn’t smell like rubber, although the smell is not anoying, but I prefer to have my body creams and lotions to smell good. So what I do to remedy that, I mix the cream with a little bit of lavender oil and problem solved!!
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post. Until next time!
