I am not a big believer in New Year’s resolutions because a few days after making them, I just let them go and forget about them. Therefore New Year’s rsolutions are a big NO for me; however, setting small achievable goals is what I would like to do this year. I figured within every major goal there are minor ones that need to be accomplished. For example, I would like to grow my blog this year. In order to do that, I need to write and post more contents, which in order for that to happen I need to stop procrastinating.
So my major goal for my blog this year is to grow my blog and increase the amount of traffic. For that to happen I need more contents. So my question to you, my dearest readers, what would like to read on my blog this year? You guys can leave your ideas in the comment section, I will greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for reading today.
Happy New Year once again.
I hope that you all are having a great start of the year and I wish that this new year will be a year of many great blessings for you.
It has been quite a while since I posted anything here on my blog. I have been quite busy with starting a new job, getting through the holidays without causing too much damages to my finances, reorgarnizing my apartment etc etc… So blogging has been on the back burner for me and on top of that I had a serious case of writer’s block. It’s a new year, and I hope to bring more contents for you guys to read about and enjoy.
I didn’t do so much last year during the holidays, aside from putting up the christmas tree and the Christmas decorations, I mostly work from Christmas eve all the way to New Year. I was able to participate in the gift exchange from CBB, which was exciting to say the least. I also was able to purchase a few things for myself that I have been wanting to try all year long such as the Sacha Buttercup powder.
That is it in a nutshell. This was just a quick update on where I’ve been. Welcome back to all my subbies. And to all my newbies, Welcome and I hope you enjoy reading my contents, also feel free to leave your comments, opinions, and suggestions; they are greatly appreciated!!
Hello again guys!!
I finally decided to start my youtube channel after a long debate of whether if I should or shouldn’t be on youtube and if it is or not worth the hassle. As we all know, people can be harsh, mean and nasty when judging others on the internet. I am both excited and nervous at the same time to start this new journey. As of now i am now sure how often I will be vlogging, but I will try to put out a video at least once a week. Starting a youtube channel and making videos are not as easy as they seem y’all, it is a lot of hard work. Anyways, just stay tuned for my next post where I will link my youtube channel and I don’t mind a little support from you guys. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comment section of my posts and videos! Let me know if any of you are new to youtube or if you have been on youtube for a while, how do you like it? do you enjoy making and editing videos? what is to be expected as a newbie?
Once again, thanks for reading, until next time!
Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday!
This post is about my updated brush cleaning routine. A year ago I remember making a concoction using baby shampoo and white vinegar to wash my brushes. Although the concoction helped, but the process of getting my brushes cleaned up was rough. I literally had to rub them in the palm of my hand in circular motion for about four to five times before all the product come off and my brushes would end up smelling like vinegar even after conditioning them with a nice conditioner before rinsing them. As for my beauty sponges, they would get clean, but there were some product residue left on them, which I found annoying so I ended up getting rid of them and purchase new ones.
This year I stumbled upon this product (which may not be new to some people but new to me) that works wonders. So be ready to get rid of you brush cleaning solutions, bar soaps, shampoos and whatever products you guys used before and get you some Dawn dish soap guys! I purchased it for less than 3 dollars at my local walmart and since it has the ability to break down tough grease and is antibacterial, I figured why not use it to clean my brushes and beauty sponges.
After washing the brushes and beauty sponges thoroughly, I dip them in hair conditioner (any hair conditioner works, doesn’t have to be an expensive one) before rinsing them thoroughly. the reason for that is the conditioner helps soften up the bristles. Then I hang my brushes upside down on the brush dryer that I purchased on ebay and let them air dry for about 2 to 3 days until they are completely dried. Here are some before and after pics!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading!!
