I recently changed my skincare regimen by spending a little bit more for department store products because I felt that the ones from the drugstore were not really working for me especially when it came to treating my acnee. The Clinique’s acnee solutionwas the most recommended to me, so I decided to give it try. Honestly, I love it because it does keep my break outs under control. I may get a few random pimples here and there, but not as I used to. The con about these products is that they leave my face a little too dry, which I don’t really have a problem with given that my skin is oily. So what I love to do is to deep clean my face using the cleansing lotion and my facial cleaning brush from Silk’n. After rinsing my face with lukewarm water, I use the facial cleanser from Cetaphil because it is more gentle and makes my skin feel more supple.
The next product I really love is the Good Things Acai Berry Multi-Tasking Micellar WaterI purchased it from Winners for $5.99 and I haven’t seen it anywhere else. Besides being cleansing and soothing, what I like about this product is that it is free from parabens, mineral oils, animal ingredients and sulphates. It also smells fruity without being overbearing.
I love the mattifying day cream by NiveaIt is so far one of my favorite moisturizers. I love the fact that it is mattifying which helps control my oil production throughout the day, and has a SPF15. This moisturizer is pretty thick, so I find that a little bit goes a long way!
The last product I want to talk about is…I randomly discovered this silicon pore cleansing brush from Shoppers Drugmart. I am absolutely in love…. I would say that it is the cheaper, manually operated version of the Foreo. I love the that the bristles are so soft and less harsh on the skin compared to my facial cleaning brush from Silk’N. It is also very easy to clean.
